Example: How to Calculate Bag Capacity

Your Group:

• 4 people

• 4 carry-on bags

• 1 large case

• 2 extra-large cases

Step-by-step Calculation:

• Carry-on: 40L × 4 = 160L

• Large Case: 120L × 1 = 120L

• Extra-Large: 150L × 2 = 300L

Total luggage volume needed:

160L + 120L + 300L = 580L

So, you would need a vehicle with at least 580 litres of boot space — for example, a Minivan (720L) or larger.
