Pick Up & Drop Off
As off the 24th August 2024 Newcastle City Council will implement a ‘Red Route’ some of the road networks adjacent the Airport. This is to ensure traffic can move freely and without obstruction, reducing the risk of incidents caused by dangerous parking. CCTV and Traffic enforcement measures are in place on road networks surrounding the airport, a £60 Fine will be be issued if the airport car parks listed below are not used.
The Express car park is located closest to the terminal, just a short walk from check-in. There is a free 15 minute pick up and drop off period available in Short Stay 2. The Express car park is suitable for any vehicles with a maximum of 7 seats. Any vehicles with more than this are advised to use the Minibus / Van Car Park.
Express Pick Up and Drop Off - 10 mins £5 Cars, 6 Seat MPV's and Minivans
The Express Pick Up and Drop Off car park is located immediately outside the terminal at Newcastle International Airport and offers the most convenient and hassle-free facility for picking up or dropping off passengers. To find out where this car park is located, please click here to see map.

Minibus, Disabled Vehicle and Van Car Park - 15 Minutes £6 Minibuses and Vans
The Minibus/Van parking facility is located directly in front of the terminal, adjacent to the Express car park. The facility has a maximum height restriction of 2.9m and should be used by all Minibus/Van vehicles, as well as any vehicle with over 7 seats.
There is a pay on foot ticket machine available in the car park or in the terminal. Exit for the Minibus / Van Parking Facility is via the Short Stay 1 Car Park. To find out where our car parks are located, please click here to see the map.

Any specially adapted disabled vehicle over 2 metres in height, carrying a disabled passenger, will be directed to use the new Minibus / Van Parking Facility

Short Stay 2 - 15 Minutes Free Pick-up and Drop-off Point
