Do You Need a Child Car Seat in Taxi or Minibus?

SHORT ANSWER IS NO, BUT MANY PARENTS CHOOSE TOO REGARDLESS
In the UK, child car seats are not compulsory in a Taxi, Minicab, Minibus, Coach or Van. But only if they travel on a rear seat and wear an adult seat belt if they’re 3 or older and without a seat belt if they’re under 3. Taxi drivers are not required to provide them. HOWEVER lots of reputable firms do provide them at an additional cost. Here at Newcastle Airport Transfers we have available a wide rang of Child car seats, which you can add to your taxi or minibus whilst making your online booking.
